Our story - Combining Innovative Design and Sustainability

Studio A.P.D. Design Agency is a young, innovative design studio that was established in 2020. Our team specializes in providing high-quality design and product development services for the clothing industry on a global scale. Our founders, Annmari and Pauliina, have almost two decades of experience working as in-house designers, which gave them the expertise needed to establish their own full-service design studio. Their goal was to provide clients with unique and customized design services that meet their specific needs.

Annmari has spent almost two decades building her career as an apparel industry designer and concept designer, working both in Finland and Sweden. She is highly skilled in technical sportswear design, trend analysis, textiles, and fashion design. In addition to her expertise in fashion design, Annmari also holds an education in interior design. Pauliina, on the other hand, has wide-ranging experience in the clothing industry, from procurement and product design to development and branding. Although Pauliina is a designer at heart, she shares a true passion for branding and brand aesthetics. In addition to her work as an entrepreneur, Pauliina also works as a senior lecturer in Metropolia UAS in the Fashion and Clothing Programme.

Together, Annmari and Pauliina established Studio A.P.D. Design Agency with the goal of offering clients high-quality design services that catered to their specific needs. The agency specializes in providing innovative design and product development services for the clothing industry worldwide. They also created their own brand, House of Wilow, which focuses on sustainable fashion and lifestyle. The agency has a clear view of sustainability and its importance in the design process. Therefore, it is the core of their design process, and they strive to create designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible.

In 2022, Studio A.P.D. Design Agency expanded their services to include sustainability consulting, graphic design, and visual design & photoshoots. They believe that the aesthetics of a brand and the way it communicates with its audience are essential to its success. They help clients curate visual contexts for their products through well-planned photoshoots, making the garments more than just physical products but a connection to something greater.

One of their primary goals is to assist those who are interested in starting a clothing line but may not have all the necessary information and materials. The design agency plans to offer packages and courses to help them navigate through the challenges and problems of starting a clothing line. They aim to provide comprehensive solutions that will help individuals turn their clothing line ideas into reality.
